Maristela Salvatori 1

Maristela Salvatori Porto Alegre, RS - 1960 Printmaker. Graduated in Printmaking at the Art Institute of UFRGS in 1983, an institution in which she concluded her Masters in Visual Arts in 1993. D. in Fine Arts from the University of Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne (2007). She lived for two years in atelier-accommodation at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Montmartre annex. She held six artist residencies at the Frans Masereel Printmaking Centre in Kasterlee, Belgium from 1998 to 2001. She is a professor at DAV and PPGAV/UFRGS. She has had solo exhibitions in galleries and museums in Paris, Porto Alegre and Curitiba. She has received awards in Paris, Recife, Porto Alegre, Curitiba and Ribeirão Preto.
