Flavia Junqueira
Flavia Junqueira (São Paulo, Brazil, 1985) deals mainly with photographic art. The visual universe of childhood and the construction of an imaginary about this period permeate the artist's work since the beginning of her production.
Her works are in collections such as MAM-SP, MIS-SP, MABFAAP, Itamaraty Museum, RedBull Station, World Bank and Figueiredo Ferraz Institute. PhD candidate at the Art Institute of the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP, Master in Visual Poetics from the University of São Paulo and Bachelor in Fine Arts from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, the artist also attends a post-graduation course in photography at FAAP.
Among the main projects and exhibitions she has participated in are: "Culture and Conflict: IZOLYATSIA in Exile", Palais de Tokyo (Paris, 2014), "The World Bank Art Program", Kaunas Photo Festival, 2010; "Tomorrow I will be born again", Cité Dês Arts, 2011; "Subjetivo Feminino: una Mirada Latino Americana", of the project Photo España (Instituto Cervantes São Paulo, 2009), "Project for Happy Endings", Season of Projects of Paço das Artes (São Paulo, 2013). Energies in Art Award from Tomie Otahke Institute, 2009; "Gorlovka", Itinerâncias Program "New Photography" (2015); "Tentativas e Apostas - Notas de um Processo", Red Bull House of Art- Artistic Residency São Paulo-SP exhibition, 2010.
