Zilda Fraletti Gallery
First Contemporary Art Gallery of Curitiba, it has been active in the world of visual arts for 36 years. Throughout this period it has held a large number of exhibitions of local, national and foreign artists, contemporary art history courses, book launches, talks and workshops, committed to intellectual production in a comprehensive manner. Since the beginning it takes art beyond the gallery space, establishing partnerships with institutions and curators and promoting an interaction between artists, collectors and art lovers. The beginning of the activities, in 1984, was through the organization of art consortiums, a way to democratize the acquisition and encourage collectionism. It has participated in the Curitiba Biennials and has accompanied its artists in exhibitions and fairs in Brazil and abroad, publicizing their activities and fostering the conditions for the full development of their careers. It values the creation of a dialogue between already established artists and new talents with consistent trajectories.
