Bruno Faria
Born in Recife (PE), in 1981. Lives and works between Recife and São Paulo. Master in visual poetics by the School of Fine Arts of UFMG, develops work in different media such as: drawing, sculpture, installation, intervention and publication.
His projects start from specific contexts and historical research to reveal a critical look at art, history, architecture and the city. Among his individual exhibitions are: "Official Version", MAC - Niterói, curated by Pablo León de la Barra and Raphael Fonseca; "Olympic Assault", Centro Cultural São Paulo (2016); "Where Are My Works?", MAMAM (2017) , curated by Clarissa Diniz.
His group shows include: "Há escolas que são caiolas e há escolas que são asas", Museu de Arte do Rio - MAR, curated by Paulo Herkenhoff and Janaína Melo (2014); "Metrô de Superfície II", Centro Cultural São Paulo - SP, curated by Bitu Cassunde and Clarissa Diniz (2013); "Ititenários, Itinerâncias: 32nd Panorama of Brazilian Art", MAM - SP, curated by Cauê Alves and Cristiana Tejo (2011).
