Alexsandra Ribeiro

Alexsandra Ribeiro, is a visual artist, for 13 years has been acting in the streets and brings in its traces the struggle of black women. Recife, currently resides in the city of Fortaleza. Has in her trajectory exposure in important places inside and outside the national territory, received invitations to act with artistic interventions in Tucson/Arizona (USA), Lima/Peru, Santiago/Chile and received from the City Council of Fortaleza a tribute in recognition of her work as a woman and graffiti artist. She works with illustration in publications and projects and has been expanding her perspectives both in graffiti and muralism, turning her art and production to the contemporary Afro-Brazilianism.
