Ramon Santos

I am from the west zone of São Paulo, I was born and grew up in the periphery, my
parents came from the Northeast, my mother from Piauí and my father from Bahia.
Since I was a child I have always made many drawings and consequently
my first contact with woodcut and wood engraving was at the age of 8 at
Instituto Acaia.

Through the engraving I pass a poetic vision of the
that I see, images that show happiness, images that show
sadness, things of my daily life that I like to notice and finally
images that generate thoughts in me.
