Sombras milenares" exhibition

 

The concept of scientific, mathematical and chemical fields in connection with philosophy and ancestral studies potentiates the development of new artistic poetics and interpretations that make it possible to broaden the consciousness and understanding of the human being with the universe and with himself. The exhibition Millenary Shadows - The World of HYBYCOZO presents for the first time in the country the luminous geometric sculptures of the duo of artists on the rise in the field of new media artsworldwide. The work is based on the concept of sacred geometry, which can be considered as the connecting thread of the universe, present since the beginning of time. The geometric sculptures seek a denouement in which the public is integrated into them, and thus can connect with the geometric patterns that govern the universe. It is possible a correlation with the study of monism and the concept of "one is the whole and the whole is one" printed in the patterns of geometry that compose us and are also represented in Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man. The use of shadows as an active agent of artistic transformation presents a means of materialisation that is little used, yet evokes results of great depth, multiplying the work so that it reaches the so-called fourth dimension. With works in countries like United States of America, Turkey, Singapore, New Zealand and Arab Emirates, besides resident artists of Burning Man festival, Farol Santander invites to the first solo exhibition of HYBYCOZO in Brazil.
