Alberto Cedron

Alberto Cedrón (05/09/1937 - 03/10/2007) "I come from the banks of the River Plate, where there is a city called Buenos Aires. When was I born? I was told it was on May 9, 1937. By various circumstances of fate, it has come to me to walk through many places on this planet, always with my profession, my trade or whatever you want to call it. I started drawing the kitchen walls of my house when I was 6 years old, since then I have never stopped. I have drawn on walls, paper, stone, brass, clay, in short, different materials, different supports and also different historical moments...". In his wanderings around the world, Cedrón has lived in Brazil several times, between Joinville, São Paulo and Búzios, having had a child with a gaúcha woman and so he also lived in Porto Alegre between 1997 and 1999. His murals are scattered not only in Argentina, but also in Venezuela and Portugal, where he lived for many years before returning to Buenos Aires in 2003. In the capital of Buenos Aires, he died in 2007.
