Arthur Piza
Arthur Luis Piza was born in São Paulo in 1928 and it was there that he was initiated into fine arts by the painter Antônio Gomide. In 1951 he left with his wife to Europe where he still keeps a studio in Paris. Galeria Tina Zappoli brought Piza's work to Porto Alegre for the first time in 1989, with his presence. Piza is considered one of the great Brazilian artists in activity. He passed away in 2017.
