Carolina Ponte
The work of Carolina Ponte (Salvador, Brazil, 1981) has as its main reference the integration of popular ornamental practices with contemporary production. Crochet and drawing are the main supports used by the artist, who also explores the combination between different patterns, colours and rhythms in works with a strong installationist inclination. The artist lives and works in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro.
