Ester Grinspum

He graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo. Her first solo exhibition was held at the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo in 1981, and followed by the Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo and the Galeria Funarte Macunaíma in Rio de Janeiro in 1983. Since then, he has had several solo exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, including at Galeria Paulo Figueiredo in 1989,1991,1994; at Galerie Lil'Orsay, Paris, in 1993 and 1995; at Galeria Marilia Razuk, in 1997 and 2009; at Paço Imperial in Rio de Janeiro, in 1997; at Musée de Langres, in 1999; at Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, in 2004; and at Galeria Transversal and at Instituto Tomie Ohtake, in 2011.

She was awarded the European Ceramic Work Centre Scholarship in s'Hertogenbosch, Holland, in 1995; the Virtuose Scholarship and Residence in the Cité des Arts, in Paris, in 1997 and 1998; and the Bolsa Vitae de Artes, in 2002, among others.

He has works in collections such as Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo, Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo, Brooklyn Museum (New York), Fonds National d'Art Contemporain (France) and the Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Collection.
