Lilian Camelli

Born in Ypacaraí in 1958, Lilian Camelli has been living in São Paulo for 30 years and since 2009 dedicates herself to figurative painting on canvas, both in acrylic and oil paint. She attended painting courses at the Accademia d'arte in Firenze, Italy and at Taller del Prado in Madrid, Spain. Since 2011 she is part of the study group Painting: Practice and Reflection with the artist Paulo Pasta - Instituto Tomie Ohtake. Currently performs group painting mentoring with Rodrigo Bivar. Starting from photography and memory, she approaches themes such as her childhood, the interiors of her family's houses and the question of the feminine in her homeland in Paraguay.
