Mariana Martins

She was born and lives in São Paulo. Besides being a painter and designer, Mariana is known for her collage and calligraphy production, which took shape in the long series "Diplomas" , produced since 1976. Since 2010, starting with the use of resin, Mariana has explored three-dimensionality in sculptural objects and installations. The series "Mobile-Cities" - dioramas installed on furniture and "Doces-Objects" - sculptures in the shape of decorated cakes, make up the current phase.
