About the work

The work has as a source of research the observation of issues related to accumulations, displacements, suspensions and migrations arising from the capture of fleeting images, which are projected into the mental field. The compositions emerge as a continuous flow.
From the pictorial investigations, forms similar to "ecosystems" emerge, constituting a medium in which diverse species coexist, nurture, move and relate to each other.
From one canvas to another, situations open up - landscapes, cut-outs, sets - in which the poetic field is affirmed as a "space of coexistence", of dynamics rocked by distinct rhythms. Thus, graphic elements are found side by side, and sometimes imbricated, involving and rolling up one another like folds, appendages, bunches, tentacles?
In the works presented, painting can be understood as a place in which the finite of things in the world opens up to the infinite, an experience inherent to sensitive experience.

About the artist:

Visual artist, graduated from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 1978, with an extension course in History of Brazilian Art at the Museu Nacional de Belas Artes.
In 1980 attends the live model workshop at EAV Parque Lage.
Post-graduated in teaching techniques at Unigranrio.
From 2004 to 2008 Participates in some study groups at Galeria do poste and attends EAV Parque Lage. She takes part in the workshop Antiforms of Intervention with David Cury.
From 2014 to 2015 is part of a study group, composed of 11 artists under the coordination of the teacher and curator Marcelo Campos.
From 2001 to 2018 she held several solo exhibitions among them:

Between 2001 and 2020 Participates in several group exhibitions, among them:
