GABRIEL NEHEMY
1979, São Paulo/SP.
His paintings reflect the chaos, wear, time and visual excess of large metropolises. He works with accumulations of pictorial masses, incomplete forms, planned geometrizations, lines and volumes in a clash between order and chaos.
He graduated in Advertising and Publicity from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado. He has attended regular courses in Visual Arts with teachers such as Sérgio Fingermann, Rubens Espírito Santo, Rodrigo Naves, Mario Gioia, Fernanda Chiecco, Nino Cais and Carla Chaim. In 2007 he won the acquisition prize at the Piracicaba Salon having his work in the permanent collection of the Municipal Pinacoteca. In 2014 he was one of those chosen for the exhibition programme promoted by the Ministry of Culture in Ribeirão Preto, where he participated in an exhibition at the city museum (Marp).
