For the gaze to reach other places, the body needs to subvert the logic of the expected displacement, of the conditioned path. Under this prerogative, the artist Isis Gasparini investigates the relationship between the movement of the spectator and the displacement of the path of the gaze, questioning the flow of the body in exhibition spaces such as museums. The focal point is no longer the work of art but the body that looks and activates other perceptions. The result of this subversion is translated into soft notes and delicate gestures in these photographs: the look beyond what is seen.
