Well known as the composer (lyrics and music) of one of the biggest hits of MPB in all times - Lampião de Gás - ZICA BERGAMI is also the author of the memoir "Onde estão os Pirilampos?" and of many other poems and songs, almost all evocative of past events. ZICA BERGAMI's creative multi-tasking has left in the background another activity in which she is a master and to which she is so dedicated: drawing. ZICA BERGAMI was simply one of the most skilful Brazilian draughtsmen. Her nankeen scenes are elaborate plots where the characters of her world prevail: girls and boys playing, the family, squares and carnivals, elegant balls and processions, beaches and farms.
