The Zagut gallery presents the exhibition Art and Words, in virtual form, by 9/7/22 to 8/8/22. The exhibition can be visited on the site, where the catalogue, the possibility of printing it, the virtual gallery and videos made by the artists are available.

The use of words in works of art, although an old practice, came into greater use from the twentieth century onwards. The free use of various signs is a hallmark of contemporary artistic activity, both nationally and internationally, making the boundaries between the various art forms increasingly blurred. Many scholars have been dedicated to the use of language signs in the works of several artists, and many artists use these signs in their works, in a more or less consistent way, and there are artists who always use the word in their works. The analysis of the use of language signs in the artist's work enables a deeper understanding of his work, the identification of the causes of such use, and makes the intended message explicit. The text on the analysis itself is constructed as a new form of message of his art.

The constitution of the "words" consists/insists of visual, sound and even tactile elements. A whole synesthetic dynamic is triggered so that we are able to understand, even partially, an attempt at contact via words or their imagery. This possibility of being affected or touched is one of the powers and effects of the arts on us. The exhibition of the Galeria Zagut entitled "Art and Word" proposes to be sensitized by works of art present in the most diverse languages. Allow yourself a conversation between art and "experiencers".
