Exhibition brings a set of serigraphs produced by the artist between 1971 and 1995

The USP Contemporary Art Museum presents the exhibition Maurício Nogueira Nogueira Lima: Form and Color, with 20 silkscreens from the collection of the Institute named after the artist and a painting from from a private collection. Maurício Nogueira Lima (1930-1999) was the youngest member of the Grupo Ruptura, which which brought together geometric abstract artists in the early 1950s in São Paulo. Alongside Geraldo de Barros, Luiz Sacilotto and Waldemar Cordeiro, he built an important career as a concrete artist and his works were present in the Bienais de São Paulo (III, IV and V).
