Carolina Martinez

Born in Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil, in 1985. 

Lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil.

 

In the course of her creative process, Carolina Martinez investigates architectural spaces and urban surfaces. In her artistic production, she focuses on the spectator's gaze towards empty, apparently uninhabited spaces. Thus, she reveals invisible perspectives, such as the passage of time and light, through paintings, collages, assemblages and site-specific installations.
