Eduardo Fernandes Gallery

Sensitivity to the universe of artistic production is the driving force behind gallery owner Eduardo Fernandes' vision. His early training prepares his vision of the world based on anthroposophy, which encourages the cultivation of the capacity to question - to think - and experimentation through manual training - to act. The choice of Architecture as a possible articulation between creation and manifestation in the world, in space, was therefore natural. During the six years that he worked as an architect in São Paulo - executing his projects in several cities in Brazil - he expanded his imagetic repertoire. During this period he took up again, for research purposes, something he has done since he was a child: visiting art exhibitions in museums and galleries. Furthermore, he sought to know the current production of artists in their own studios. He worked as an Art Advisor until 2005, when he decided to open and dedicate himself exclusively to Galeria Eduardo Fernandes. Currently representing a team of 15 Brazilian and 5 foreign artists who produce works in various media, Eduardo Fernandes participates systematically, since 2011, in national and international art fairs, besides maintaining the exhibition program in his gallery in Vila Madalena in São Paulo, Brazil.
