Lives and works in Rio de Janeiro

She graduated in Industrial Design and Visual Programming from PUC-RJ in 1976 and completed a post-graduate course in the History of Art and Architecture in Brazil in 1987. Attended several courses at the School of Visual Arts at Parque Lage, RJ.

In his artistic work, he researches the folds and their unfolding on different supports and media, questioning concepts about impermanence and continuous movement of existence. He moves between sculpture, object, photography, video and drawing, mixing the various media.

She exhibited individually at Galeria Marsiaj Tempo in 2015 and was one of the winners of the Honour of Merit Award for Art and Heritage, in 2014, holding an exhibition at Paço Imperial, Rio de Janeiro. She participated in group exhibitions at the Centro Cultural da Justiça Federal, RJ and at the Instituto Tomie Ohtake, in São Paulo. He has also had solo exhibitions in cultural institutions, such as Centro Cultural da Light and Paço Imperial, both in Rio de Janeiro, and Caixa Cultural in Brasília. He won the first Icatu Art Prize in 1996, with a residence in Paris. He made exhibitions in the Debret Gallery, in Paris, and in Culturgest, Lisbon. In 1993, he exhibited at the São Paulo Cultural Centre and in 1994, at the Casa França-Brasil, in Rio de Janeiro. The following year, at the Palácio das Artes, in Belo Horizonte, and at the Brazilian American Cultural Institute, in Washington.
