Glauco Menta
Glauco Menta (Curitiba/PR, 1965) graduated in Scenic Arts from the Pontific Catholic University of Paraná (1990). He has a specialization in Art History in the 20th Century by the Music and Fine Arts School of Paraná (EMPAB) and a Master in Communication and Languages by the Tuiuti University of Paraná. Currently, she teaches the disciplines of Graphic Arts, History of Art and History of Graphic Design for the Design and Communication courses at Unicuritba - Curitiba University Center. His works in the plastic arts have been exhibited in several exhibitions, salons, galleries, in collections or individually. The artist has been awarded in salons, some examples being the Acquisition Prize at the VII Print Exhibition of the City of Curitiba, PR, in 1986, the 1st Varig Award for a trip to Bangkok, Curitiba Arte 9, Alci Ramalho Filho Hall, in 1993, the Acquisition Prize at the 52nd Salon of Paraná, Museum of Contemporary Art, Curitiba, PR, in 1995 and the State Secretariat of Culture Award at the 2nd National Ceramics Salon, Curitiba, PR, in 2009.
